Yadvinder Sandhu, grandson of Bhagat Singh, criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for displaying Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's portrait alongside those of revolutionary freedom fighters Bhagat Singh and B.R. Ambedkar.

Sandhu expressed concern over what he perceived as an attempt to equate Kejriwal with legendary figures. He highlighted Bhagat Singh's sacrifice for the nation in contrast to Kejriwal facing allegations of corruption and potential jail time.

 Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, delivered a video message on April 4, sharing a statement written by her husband while he remains in jail. The backdrop of the message prominently featured an image depicting Arvind Kejriwal in a jailed context, alongside iconic figures Bhagat Singh and B.R. Ambedkar.
